Hi dimka,
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, I followed those exact steps when I was doing the installation.
I also reinstalled the OS a few times to validate that I did everything in the proper order.
I got the same results each time, so something may have changed in the OS.
Thanks!

Compiling on Debian 12
Hello all! I have been looking to update our Debian 11 OS's to Debian 12, but I have been having issues compiling accel-ppp when it gets to the final steps. From what I can tell, the error revolves around "/tools/bpf/resolve_btfids/resolve_btfids", I have been trying to find a package to f...

Re: IPOE Renewal Loop
To update. The issue here was because of the iPOE pool configuration. Google routers only respond in broadcasts, and because of the /32 mask, the broadcast never got to the gateway. After I adjusted the pool size and mask to standard, the google router stopped acting up. Why it worked some of the ti...

Re: IPOE Different Gateways Per Pool
Just tested all of this and got it working. Thanks again for the help dimka!
I didn't realize that the accel-ppp was going to make the interfaces for me, so I left the interfaces alone and everything seemed to work.

Re: IPOE Different Gateways Per Pool
Thanks dimka88 that makes it really easy! Alright, so then second question. If I set the gateway addresses, on the accel-ppp box would creating Linux bridges with gateway addresses work across all VLANs for accel-ppp, or when I set the gw address does accel-ppp create an interface already with the a...

IPOE Different Gateways Per Pool
Hey all, We have been trying to figure out whether it is possible to add different gateway IP addresses on each Pool for IPOE. Reading from the documentation it isn't clear whether this is possible. Is the gateway IP limited to one IP for all pools, or does the configuration allow for multiple gatew...

Re: IPOE Renewal Loop
Hi dimka,
Thanks for the response; I'll give that a try tonight!
Definitely worth a shot. That could cause a race condition with renewal potentially.
I'll post the results when I try it.
Attached are the DHCP Packet captures from the router. I separated the working from the not working instances.

IPOE Renewal Loop
Hi, I am wondering if anyone has run into this issue where the router constantly tries to renew and gets a different IP? We have been using Mikrotiks to connect customers on IPOE without any issues, but we have also allowed customers to use their own routers. We are often finding that some of the ro...
