Nas-Port-ID via Radius

Post by maxthetor »

When a Nas-Port-Id > 14 parameter is sent via radius,
the interface is not renamed and the pppoe tunnel does not stay up
is there any configuration to help with this?

info: ppp7: connect: ppp7 <--> pppoe(74:DA:DA:B7:8D:AD)
[2018-02-25 17:08:48]: info: ppp7: antoniojosemartins: authentication succeeded
[2018-02-25 17:08:48]: error: ppp7: cannot rename interface (name is too long)
[2018-02-25 17:08:50]: info: ppp7: disconnected

You can control correct username and ifname from radius side.
I think it is correct - if usename very long - reject this sessions.
I asked xeb about it (reject of failed rename) - I want have correct ifname in system.
