PPPoE reissue same ip on quick disconnect?

Hey All,

Can I configure PPPoE to reissue the same ip to a customer who's tunnel drops and reconnects without having to do a framed ip attribute in radius(static ip)? I.E. customer reboots their router, as long as it comes back within a defined time frame(say 20 minutes) then their public ip from the pool stays the same, after some defined time then that ip gets release back into the pool and when the customer reconnects they get a new ip. Most cable companies behave this way, it would be nice to setup my PPPoE sessions the same way.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, maybe delegate this logic to a billing and radius server?

that could be done, but at that point i might as well give every customer a static ip, which would be overkill for sure, im surprised there is no persistent pool type option
